Specialist Physiotherapy and Pain Management

An experienced musculoskeletal and pain management physiotherapy service.

Offering evidence-based physiotherapy and personalised pain management plans for a wide range of conditions - from acute injuries and musculoskeletal pain to complex, persistent pain problems.

NBE physiotherapy supports recovery, builds resilience, and helps you move with confidence.

I'm a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist with over a decade of experience helping people overcome pain and injury. My approach is grounded in the latest science, combining evidence-based physiotherapy techniques to support long-term recovery. Treatment may include hands-on therapy, condition specific information/education and movement guidance.

I qualified with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy, with first class honours from Cardiff University in 2014, before beginning my career in the NHS as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist. I completed my Master of science degree in 2021 in Advanced Clinical Practice and currently work both privately and in the NHS as a clinical specialist physiotherapist.

My goal is to help you understand your pain, regain control, and get back to living well. Let's work together to change your experience of pain and move to lasting relief.

Treatment Areas

Here are just some of the things I can help with (but there are many more)

01

Acute, recurrent or chronic back pain can have a terrible impact on a persons quality of life. It can persist long after an injury — or even start without a clear cause. I help you understand what’s driving the pain, calm the nervous system, and rebuild confidence in movement using evidence-based  physiotherapy approaches.

04

Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia involves widespread pain, fatigue, and sensitivity that can feel overwhelming. My approach focuses on soothing an overactive nervous system, supporting better sleep, pacing, and guiding you through gentle, safe movement and mind-body strategies that help restore balance.

02

Shoulder Pain

Shoulder pain can have a major impact on daily life, affecting everything from sleep and work to simple tasks like getting dressed or reaching overhead. It can lead to frustration, fatigue, and anxiety about movement. I help people understand the root causes of their shoulder pain - whether it's related to injury, tension, or nervous system sensitisation - and guide them through evidence based strategies to reduce pain, restore movement, and build confidence. With the right support, it is possible to move beyond pain and get back to living fully.

05

CRPS

CRPS is complex, but recovery is possible. I use specialist pain management techniques including graded motor imagery, nervous system regulation, and mind-body therapies to reduce sensitivity, support function, and improve quality of life.

03

Knee Pain

I can help you with a tailored recovery plan for your knee pain. As a physiotherapist with years of experience in both acute and chronic pain. If your knee pain is new or longstanding, there are things you can do to reduce pain, build strength and get back to the things you love to do.

06

Chronic Joint Pain

Joint pain from conditions like osteoarthritis doesn’t have to mean a life of limitations. I help you find ways to move with greater ease, reduce pain, and build strength and confidence — without pushing through flare-ups or discomfort.
